What a beautiful gallery - I was lead here by a kind comment you'd left in =Cristosea's most recent Deviation, and I was amazed to see another fantastic Vancouver photographer. As it is late and I am tired, I must return later to comment upon some of your wonderful works, but for now, bravo!

My son came to our house yesterday and showed me how to create the avatar, so I feel I can do this independently now. I understand that the white rose is one you might use yourself as it is so lovely. Thanks for all the trouble you went to on my behalf. It was very generous of you.


We actually saw the sun today for a few hours. Winter can be pretty gloomy but I do not plan to let it pull me down. You have an even worse condition with 24 days of rain. Yuk.

Well done you did an avitar !!! Looks really good ....... Unfortunately the white rose that you mentioned is my "summer" avitar and have used it as such and it is all ready to be used again as the good weather approaches. I also have an avitar for the yellow one as well which I use on my stock gallery for the same time period. What about the pink one? .... Or the dahlia? I have them resized already for use ..... will send you the links as soon as I upload them.

It has rained here now for 24 days so have not been able to do any photography at all which is kind of upsetting to me .... but it will change (hopefully) lol .....

Enjoyed your first journal entry. It took me several months before I risked it. Found it not too painful. Just wanted to comiserate with you on the damned damp weather. I live in Wisconsin and the sun has been eluding us for some weeks now. I am visiting brother in the adjoining state of Iowa and it is the same here.

I have still not pursued getting an avatar of my own, but am going to look at your gallery since you made the kind offer to assist me. More later.
